This was my best US open to date where I made the final for the first time

my first match was against French no 1 Mattheiu Sarlangue in the QF

This was a touch match to play for my first match in the tournament. Mattheiu is very talented and can be handful. He also already had a match.

I was able to win the match 6/4 6/2 6/4. I played very solidly and was happy to close out the first and 3rd set when Mattheiu was making a come back. my next opponent is world no 3 Ben Taylor Matthews in the semi final

fortunately I was able to put 3 good sets of tennis t...

This was the first time I qualified for a world championship eliminator. it's a 2 year process to try qualify for the World Eliminators and only the top 4 players who have picked up the most world race points in those 2 years have a shot at competing in the World Championship against the World Champion.

I qualified in 4th spot so that meant I took the no 1 qualifier, Camden Riviere. We both have the chance to place a bid to have the match played at the court of your choice. I was very luck that the Oratory School and the real tennis chairmen were kee...

Because of the low numbers and a late pull out from the World no 1 meant I had a bye in the Quarter Final and had to play against the very dangerous Keiran Booth. The best Amateur in the world.

I had  disappointing loss to Kieran Booth 6/5 6/5 6/5. I give my hats off to him as he played very well and had a good game plan that caught me off guard first with his fast side wall serves and never adjusted to them well. I didn't panic despite feeling out of sorts as I thought if I just played steady that I would get enough mistakes from Kieran and then I w...

I was the no seed no 5 in this tournament so that meant  I had bye to the second round. I really wasn’t sure ie  would be able to play as I sustained a deep cut to my right pinky a week before the British Open. Becuase of the cut I had, I did not have a practice or hit a ball until the day of match. The morning of the match I had gone to Queens Club early in the morning for a practice and to test my finger out. I struggled to hold the racquet properly and hit the ball without pain , especially on the backhand. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to...

My first round match was against John Woods Casey who is young and talented player from Melbourne. I played solid enough to win 6/3 6/1 6/3

My QF  match was against world no 9 Darren Long. Darren is a very tough competitor and if you give Darren a chance he can really punish you with winners.

In the first I went 3/1 down but didn’t panic as I knew I was dominating the points and just had to cut out the silly errors as all 3 games he had won, I had game points . Once I steadied the ship I never looked back for a really good win 6/4 6/0 6/1.

I lost...

My first match is on Saturday and I have a very tough first round match where I take on Bryn Sayers who has been ranked as high as world #3 and has won 3 majors. He had taken a break from tournaments but is back now. With that said i am looking forward to the challenge and I am confident of coming out with a victory. My match will be at 2pm in Paris so 8am on the east coast. I will let you know the link to the streaming when I find out.

I beat Bryn Sayers 6/3 6/4 6/4. I am so pleased with this win as he is a very dangerous opponent and a 3 time major...

The Champions Trophy is a unique format where the top four seeds get a second chance if they lose their first match. If I beat Rob Fahey tomorrow I go straight to semi final. If I lose to Rob then I play in the QF against John Lumley vs Qualifier which happens to be a Bryn Sayers who qualified the the world championship eliminators last year. There is no easy match but hopefully I can pull. off a victory against Rob so I have few extra rest days. The matches are streamed live on the Royal Tennis Court YouTube channel

I wasn’t able to beat Rob Fahey ....

The first round of the  main draw of the US pro singles playing for the Schochet Cup Cup is just 2 days away. It hasn't been the preparation for me on the court as I have been having trouble with my wrist, Tendinitis.  I hit balls for the first time yesterday after 2 weeks of no hitting. Fortunately the wrist did not fell too bad as I had cortisone shot in my wrist on  Wednesday . Off the court my preparation has been good. My fitness coach Michael Cecchi has continued to push me hard so at least I am still  fit. The draw is a good one for me as I h...

I won my first round  match against Adrian Kemp yesterday 6/1 6/0 6/1. Even though I was expected to win, I was still happy with how I played and how I was reading the court. The big test will be taking on most likely Ben Taylor Matthews on Tuesday at 3pm in the QF.

It wasn't the result I was hoping for  going down in 4 sets. 6/2 2/6 1/6 4/6. I played a great first set. I served well and I returned the serve superbly. Second set I started off in the same fashion as the first set going 2/0 up. The next 2 games were tight but Ben took them...

I won my first match  6/1 6/0 6/1 against Michael Williams who is young player with plenty of talent and a handicap of 5. I felt good on the court and that I was moving well. I have my QF match against World no 3 Chris Chapman tonight at 6pm. 2 am east coast time. I am looking forward to this match, last time out I lost to Chris 6/5 in the fifth set so hoping for a better outcome this time.

I pulled off a good win against Chris Chapman last night. 3/6 6/4 6/5 6/5. I started the first set well going 3/1 up before Chris fought back and I played some st...

We won our first match in the World Doubles Championship.  6/0 6/2 6/4 against Frank Filippelli/Bret McFarlane. Head professionals of Royal Melbourne Tennis club and Hobart Real Tennis club. We both feel comfortable on the court. We were only playing at about 60% effort. Tonight at 5pm, 1am back on the east coast is the big match against Steve Virgona & Chris Chapman. The winning team goes on to World Championship. I feel confident with my form and Rob looks in ominous form so we should be able to get the W tonight.

Rob and I pulled off a great victo...

I have been in London for 3 days now. I have been on court every day for a couple hours. I have hit with Steve Virgona,  Kieran Booth & Mathieu Sarlangue.

I am happy with my preparation before I play my second round match against most likely John Lumley. As most you know I Iost to him recently in straights sets at the IRTPA Championships. John actually  went on to win the whole tournament which softened the hurt of the loss a little bit

I studied the match I lost to John on YouTube.  I wanted to see what he did well and what I was doing wr...
